Rehearsal Night and Wedding Morning Photos

Well - It's really hard to believe that it has been two whole weeks.

It Seems like yesterday we were Celebrating the night before the wedding at the Elmore house with live Karaoke sing-a-long and all that wine...

Jaylin and I came back from the honeymoon, very well rested and got right into going back to work, back to school back to kids, back to "Real Life"...

But it's like we were there goofing around at the rehearsal and at the Elmore House with all our friends only moments ago.. we had such a great weekend of celebrating our marriage with everyone.

We even got to make some new friends - Here is Amanda's Guy Eric, jumping right in and "jammin" with me and the gang...it was like we were long lost friends...


Piper did such an awesome job all weekend and was great with her "cousin" Sophia. This was the rehearsal photo - she wound up actually carrying her down the isle...Sophie was so sweet!!



I thought I would put some pictures up here from the rehearsal night, wedding rehearsal at the loft and hanging out at the Elmore House with close friends and family - the celebration really started the day before the wedding and we felt like it was a real blessing that we had such a nice place to stay and hang out and get ready...thanks gang for making us feel so comfortable and so at home with all of you...

You can Tell that Jim has really softened up here...so emotional...so touching....

This woman amazes me...Mother of the bride, planning. doing, organizing...this look on her face is no joke. She is so Happy to serve and has found such joy in this journey. I think this is one of my favorite shots just because the idea that she is helping her daughter get ready for the biggest day of her life by doing the little things and finding such joy along the way. What a great example!!

My mom taking care to get Dad organized...they are so sweet to each other - I love watching them when nobody else is looking.

Theses are just a few of the fun memories we already have from our wedding celebration. As we collect more candids from the day and get our "official" wedding photos from Daniel we will get them all up here. For now - it's back to school, back to work, back to reality time...

Introducing...Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ryan

So it was AMAZING. Still so fresh in our minds too. We are completely exhausted and unbelievably blessed!!! What a Day!

Jaylin was soooo beautiful. Her Dress was gorgeous and all the girls looked fantastic!!

Parker and Piper made us so proud and we cant wait to tell all the wonderful stories here.

We are off on our honeymoon at the beach for the week and will update the blog when we get back...but for now, a couple of pics for you all and a HUGE thanks to all who made the trip to come celebrate with us!!

Also - an amazing job by Jaylins' folks on putting this whole thing together, and to my parents for helping us out along the way. We have been so fortunate to have such great families to support and love us along in our journey!!

Less Than A month....

Hi and Welcome to our Blog Site. If you haven't already guessed, we are VERY excited about the wedding!! The final details are being attended to, plans are in full swing and we are "Totally Freaking OUt!!!!"...ok, I am totally freaking out, Jaylin is the picture of grace under pressure!!

The planning has been such a great project with Jay and I working together tio resolve issues, make decisions together and communicate with Family, Friends, Caterers, Photographers, DJ's...and Each Other. We have absolutely had our challenges...like anyone does, but I gotta say that Being loved by this amazing woman means I am totally subject to someone who loves by example.

I have never known the power of a truly Kind, Patient and caring sould like hers...She simply blows me away!

I hope that writing a public love letter like this is one is one of the ways I can show her through my actions that while I am sitting at yet another airport, a thousand miles away, exhausted and a bit sad....the Only thing that is keeping me going tonite is knowing I get to come home to the woman who loves me and the Kids she has been taking such great care of.

I sure hope you can all make it on the 23rd - I may be a bit distracted with my nes bride that day, but I hope to be able to hang out with all of you at least for a bit, and show off this amazing treasure I have been so lucky to find....and blessed to call my love.

WOW..a new post....FINALLY...

So - Between the new job, Parkers nbaseball season, moving and planning a wedding....I have been a bit lazy with the blog posts so here a some updates -

engagement pics are up for you to see. I changed the titles too cause O love that pic of us and what else....only a month to go!! Holy Smokes!!

Tonight Jay and the Kids and I got to meet Daniel stark our Wedding Photographer. We met downtown in the Pearl District and had a super fun time taking all kinds of shots around the parks, buildings and various scenic locales that make up NW Portland.

Daniel was very nice - exactly how we thought he would be after communicating via email for so long, and Jaylin and I are more excited than ever to get to have him shoot the wedding...

also - it really brought thongs home to us...It's really happening, really soon...WOW!!

We got a chance to have dinner with the kiddos afterwards and the fact that these two are so fired up to do this - what a blessing to us both!

I threw a couple candids in here of Jay and the kids - and of Jay and I last night at the movies (took the kids to see Narnia - very cool flick), and I will post the photo shoot pics as soon as we get them.

Jaylin and I really appreciate that Daniel tool so much time getting the kids their own shots - and that while making sure to capture Jaylin and I in our own world, showed so much time and attention to getting the spirit of our family as well...

Thanks Daniel for a fun night...we really look forward to working with you on the Big Day!!
